A little bit about us . . .

 

Halliday House & Co. is located in the quant village of Cookstown, Ontario. Jennifer Halliday fulfilled a life long dream when she opened the doors in March of 2017, of 9 Queen St., a brick and mortar building dating back to 1867. In the six years that the store has been open, we have grown and established a line of staple products as well as introducing new products regularly. We officially expanded in 2019 with the addition of Halliday House Blooms, offering unique bouquets and flower arrangements for weddings, special occasions and/or everyday. In the fall of 2022 we expanded with the addition of The Study, with a focus on antiques. 

Halliday House & Co. carries a collection of antiques, personal care items, candles, unique greeting cards, dishes, jewelry, giftware and is a retailer of Fusion Mineral Paint. Throughout the store you will find a unique curated collection of goods from Canadian and local artisans, as well as a variety of turkish linens. 

There is a team of people behind Jennifer helping her get it all done. The team includes her antique picking husband Jason, who regularly digs through barns and attends markets to fill the store with unique vintage pieces.  You can also sometimes find Jennifer's mother Joey or her friends Kerri, Cathy, and Nate helping out in the store.

We recently moved to a new location in Cookstown which is just as easy to find. We are now located at 2 King St. North, which is Hwy 27, just north of 89, and is open Tuesday to Saturday 10 - 5.
